Our Circuit is committed to supporting local churches and individuals as they respond to God’s love in Christ and serve Him in the world.

Welcome

This website is the home of Ilfracombe and Barnstaple Circuit. We are one of the Circuits within the Plymouth & Exeter District of the Methodist Church in Britain.

Fellowship

Church has a special ability to bring people together. We hope you will find that this online community feels just as welcoming as a real church. We hope this website can act as a springboard to connect you with your local church.

Local Circuit

Our circuit covers a huge variety of locations across Northern Devon. These include: Emmanuel Ilfracombe in the North, to High Bickington, in the South and a whole range in between.

“We’re thrilled you are here. Please stay awhile and look around. You’ll find local spiritual inspiration and goodness.”

  • Let us walk with you in the way of the cross, O Christ, faithfully enduring its demands, constantly sharing its message and daily revealing its love. Amen.
  • Everywhere and always, O Christ, let us feel your presence, the gift of grace upholding us, the gift of faith strengthening us, our hope fortified and our love reborn. Amen.
  • We turn to you, O Crucified Redeemer, converted through your cross, conquering in its sign, transformed by its grace and at peace within its shadow. Amen.
